Cricket size chart
Match the size to your animal.
Medium crickets for juvenile leopard geckos, large crickets for adults, and pinheads for hatchlings.
For juvenile leopard geckos, medium crickets (about 1/2 in) are our most requested size. Adult leopard geckos do well with large crickets (about 3/4 in). Hatchling geckos can take pinhead crickets. Whatever the age, never offer a cricket longer than the space between your gecko's eyes.
Keep crickets well fed (gut-loaded) before feeding, and remove any uneaten crickets after 15 minutes so they don't bite a sleeping gecko.
| Size | Age | Length | Good for |
